Committee membership is an essential tool in assisting you with making the most of your membership.  By becoming an active committee member, you can meet new members, share ideas, network with your peers, and contribute your expertise to NARI of Chicagoland and your industry.

Committee Interest
Please rank your interest in serving as a member of each of NARIGC's standing committees. Choose up to four by indicating 1, 2, 3 or 4 (1 = highest interest, 4 = less interest), and then checking "Not interested" for the rest.

The Annual Meeting Committee oversees and facilitates the Annual Meeting, typically held in November. With the incoming President chairing the committee, this meeting is our only members-only event with our top speaker for the year, leadership elections, and updates on the strategic vision for the Chapter.

The ROTY Awards Committee oversees and facilitates the marketing, submission, review, and judging of the ROTY award applications. This Committee also oversees the formal attire, high-octane Awards Annual Gala to present our chapter ROTY awards and President’s awards.

The ROTY Awards Judges are an integral part of the annual awards effort, virtually reviewing and scoring ROTY submissions from other NARI chapters. With a short, typically one-week commitment, judges review and score entries via an online portal and get a sneak-peek into the amazing work being done by fellow remodeling pros nationwide!

The Education Committee oversees our annual education-focused program and advises on industry topics and trends to incorporate into events. Educational events offer innovative insights from top-notch speakers, industry experts, and peer-to-peer learning. Attendees connect with each other and learn about the newest remodeling industry products, materials, technology, and/or services.

The Member Engagement Committee directs and develops Chapter education and social programs outside of our signature annual events. These strategic visionaries monitor progress, marketing, and promotion of Chapter events, ensuring we align with our strategic growth plan.

The Summer Social Committee oversees and facilitates our annual Summer Social event/meeting. The Summer Social is a relaxing evening of fun and networking, celebrating Chicago in the summertime.

The Workforce Development Committee fosters education, mentorship, industry awareness, and networking to promote remodeling. The Committee helps to identify and engage with key stakeholders and partners in the remodeling industry to strengthen the future workforce of our profession.
